This Privacy Policy explains how Stellra.ai ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit stellra.ai (the "Site"). We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).

1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, referrer (server logs, retained up to 30 days).
• AI Finder inputs: the answers you submit to receive a tool recommendation. Stored only for the duration of the session unless you opt in.
• Contact data: email address and message content when you contact us.

3. Why we use your data (legal basis)

• Operate and secure the Site — legitimate interest.
• Respond to your messages — performance of a contract / legitimate interest.
• Measure aggregated, anonymous usage — legitimate interest.
• Send affiliate-link clicks to partner platforms — legitimate interest; see Section 5.

4. Cookies

The Site uses only strictly necessary cookies required for the Site to function (e.g. session state). We do not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will display a consent banner and update this policy.

5. Affiliate links

Stellra.ai participates in affiliate programs. When you click an affiliate link, the destination site may set its own cookies and receive a referral identifier so we can be credited for any purchase. This does not increase the price you pay. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

6. Sharing

We share data only with infrastructure providers acting as processors under written agreements (hosting, email). We never sell personal data. Some processors may operate outside the EEA; transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Retention

Server logs: up to 30 days. Contact emails: up to 24 months after the last exchange. Aggregated, anonymous data: indefinitely.

8. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. EU/UK residents may lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" (we do neither). Contact privacy@stellra.ai.

9. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced on this page.
